Thomas J.
Motisko
July 25, 1952 – April 10, 2022
Thomas J. Motisko, a life long resident of Eynon passed away peacefully at home after a courageous battle with Kidney Disease. He was surrounded by his loving family. Thomas was the son of the late Dorothy and Michael Motisko and was one of twelve children. He attended school in Archbald followed by his apprenticeship at Davis Tool and Gauge in Syracuse New York before his affliction with Mental Illness.
Thomas enjoyed listening to music and was an avid collector. He loved free hand drawing and Racing Pidgeons with his late brother Marvin. Toms love of Harley David Motorcycles was a bond he shared with his Brother Alan. Their early years together consisted of crafting one of a kind Harley Davidson Choppers with exceptional attention to detail. They would be known through out the area as the first Motorcycle enthusiast of Eynon. Thomas was a true Christian at heart. He loved his family and was a friend to all. He would often be seen riding his racing bike or walking the town greeting all he met until his renal disease took its toll and he could no longer do so.
First and foremost the family would like to thank their brother Kenneth for the love and compassionate care he showed to Tom during his illness. Kenneth and his sister Kathleen together created a support system that allowed Tom to live out his days happy and content in his family home.
They would like to thank Dr.Ferdinand Manahan and the staff at Davita Dialysis in Eynon. Revolutionary Home Health,Traditional Home Health, The Wright Center and the nurses and staff at Geisinger Medical Center and Moses Taylor Hospital,Cottage Hose Company and anyone that was involved in Tom's medical treatment for the past several years.
