Rosalie M. Bialy

Rosalie M. (Laskowski) Bialy, 86, went into the loving arms of Jesus on August 7, 2026.

A lifelong resident of Throop, Rosalie dedicated her life to her family and her work. She graduated high school in 1957. Afterwards she was a beautician from graduation until she married and had a young family. She was employed in the local garment industry until her retirement from BAE Jessup in 2006. Rosalie was a dedicated member of St. Carlo Acutis Parish and a longtime member of the Altar and Rosary Society, where she faithfully gave her time and service to her church community.

Rosalie’s greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved crafting and baking with them and treasured every moment spent together. She was a devoted spectator at all her grandchildren’s extracurricular activities, always making time to cheer them on and support them. Rosalie also enjoyed traveling to polka weekends with her husband and their friends. In her younger years she loved to bowl especially on Tuesdays with her family and friends.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Bertha Laskowski, beloved husband, Richard A. Bialy, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage.

She is survived by her children, Donna (Michael) Fazio, Sturges; Ron (Dawn) Bialy, Dickson City; grandchildren, Michael, Elayna (Alex), and Annalie Fazio, and Mitchell, Morgan, and Madison Bialy; siblings Ann Marie (Bob) Stine and Stanley (Carol) Laskowski and several nieces and nephews.

Rosalie lived with her daughter and family after her husband’s passing until she spent the last 8 months of her life in the loving care of Carbondale Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center where she was treated like their own family. Rosalie’s family will forever be grateful for their love and care of her during these final months.

Rosalie will be remembered for her generous heart, creative spirit, devotion to her faith, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends and church community, forever remaining in the hearts of those who loved her.

A  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday September 8, 2026 10:00 a.m. at Saint Carlo Acutis Parish at St Anthony of Padua Church, 215 Rebecca St. Throop.

Visitation with family will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the church.
