Crambo
June 19, 1949 – March 26, 2022
Ronald John Crambo,72, a resident of Macungie (Formerly of Throop,PA) passed away peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones at his residence on Saturday March 26,2022. He was the son of the late John(Jack) and AnnaMae Standarski Crambo of Throop. He graduated from Dunmore Central Catholic High School in 1969 and enlisted in the Coast Guard on April 7,1969. He was Honorably Discharged with the rank of Boatswain's Mate,Third Class on April 6, 1975. He was a 46 year Lifetime Member of the Throop Hose Company #3, where he held several positions including Chief Engineer. He was employed, at various times by Atlas Trucking, International, Scranton Craftsman and Bolus Trucking. He was an excellent mechanic, a trade that he learned from his father,Jack, and a trade that he loved. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and he spent most of his free time enjoying Water Sports with family and friends at Duck Harbor Pond in Wayne County. He was a huge fan of Country Music and Motor Sports, especially the Drag Races which he attended and watched at every opportunity.
He is survived by his children, Son Ron and his wife Shannon, of Greenfield Twp, Daughter Tara and her husband Gene Beamer, of Scott Twp, and daughter Katrina and her husband Bob Aiello of Eynon, a sister Carol and her Husband Tom Monaghan of Macungie, and brothers Paul and his wife Kathy of Nicholson and Stan of Olyphant, six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins as well as two Aunts,Elaine Crambo of Dickson City and Marge Standarski of Scranton. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, a brother John and a niece Ceara as well as "his pup"Regan all of whom he missed greatly and was looking forward to meeting once again.
The Family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of LVHN Home Health Services as well as Ron's sister Carol and her husband Tom with whom he resided for the past 15 years. Thank you for all of the care and support that you have provided when Ron needed it most.
As Ron's request there will be no viewing, however on Friday April 8 at Blessed Sacrament Parish Throop,Pa. The family will receive friends and relatives from 9 to 10 A.M. and Mass of Christian Burial will follow, Interment will follow immediately at the Holy Family Cemetery,Throop,with full military honors. Ron requested that in lieu of flowers, friends consider making a memorial donation to the Volunteer Hose Comapny of Throop.
