Roger "Zeke" Zeller Sr, 81, died peacefully at home, with his family by his side.  He was the husband of the late Ilona Generotti Zeller, who passed away December 24, 2014.  They had been married 52 years.

Born May 11, 1941, in Long Beach, CA, Roger was the oldest son of the late Fred Jr, and Ruth Miller Zeller.  He was a 1959 graduate of Lakewood Sr. High School, Lakewood, CA. Roger attended California State University, Long Beach before entering the Air Force where he met Ilona, "The Love of his Life". After serving their country Roger and Ilona finally settled in Throop to raise their family, and that family was everything to them!

Volunteering for the local fire department, leading the boy scouts, and being Mr. Fix it for anyone needing a helping hand were just a few things that made him so Loved and Respected by all.  He loved to travel everywhere, but most of all with Ilona, and Teresa and Eddie (his sister-in-law and brother-in-law). The 4 had countless adventures!  Zeke also had a passion for flying his airplane, shooting trap and playing cards with friends at the Moscow Sportsman Club, and his daily bull sessions with all the customers at 'Zeller Armory', where he worked after retirement from MET LIFE in 2015.  He will be forever missed.

Roger was preceded in death by wife Ilona (2014) and his son Roger Jr.(2017)

He is survived by his son David and wife Donna, Throop, his son Steven, Jacksonville, FL and daughter Ruthallyn Colombo and Husband Jeffrey, South Abington Twp., Brothers, Ronald, WA and Raymond, AZ. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
