Robert Joseph Mozda, 76, of Olyphant passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at home amongst loved ones.  Born in Scranton on November 10,1947, he was the son of the late Joseph and Rita Mozda.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Ann Marie and brother Joseph.  He graduated from Throop High School in 1965 and later enlisted in the United States Seabees during the Vietnam War. Thereafter he built his business as an electrical/mechanical contractor for 35 years.  When Robert was not working, he loved spending time outdoors, whether it be for a long walk or road trip through the country, watching old western movies, following NASCAR, and had great affection for the family pets.  He enjoyed listening to all genres of music and going out to eat with family, most of all , he had the greatest love for his children and grandchildren.

Robert leaves behind his children, Mary and fiance' Jack Rowe, Joseph and wife Angela Mozda, Erin, Alyssa, Rachael, and Nikohl North-Mozda, and his grandchildren Anthony and David Mozda.
