Robert "Chico" Carson, age 57, passed away Sunday January 22, 2023 at home, following a lengthy illness.  He was born August 18, 1965 in Morris Plains, N.J. to the late Paul and Margaret Gavigan Carson.  The family moved back to Scranton when he was 2 years old.  He graduated from Scranton Technical High School and began his career in construction.  The past 24 years Chico worked construction with the H & K Group until recently when he was no longer able.  Chico/Uncle Chic will be missed deeply by so many.  His competitive spirit, quick wit, and protective nature are the makings of many a story.

Survived by best friend and former spouse Lori Carson; siblings Paul and Kathy Carson, Margie and Ken Cosgrove. William and Michelle Carson and Noel and Jeff Lozinger; nieces and nephews who all agreed he was the "Coolest Carson" and companion Jadine Rusyn.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, parents Paul and Margaret Carson, sisters Mary Kay and Anne Marie Carson and partner in mischief/his brother Thomas Carson.
