Paul Zilla, 90 of Throop passed away peacefully Tuesday February 15 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore after a brief illness.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Mazzucca Zilla. They would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in July.

Born in Throop, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Zilla. Prior to retirement, he was employed at Trane Company for

35 years. He then worked  many years at the John F. Glinsky Funeral Home,Inc Throop.

He was a member of Saints Anthony and Rocco Parish,Dunmore.

Paul was a dedicated husband,father,grandfather, brother, uncle.He was a kind and gentle man who had a great sense of humor and was liked

by all who knew him. He enjoyed family trips to Ocean City ,Md, attending his grandsons' sporting events,gardening and a good cheeseburger.

He is also survived by his two daughters, Debra Baldauff and husband Rick,Springbrook and Paula Smith and Husband Andy, Dunmore.

Three grandsons, Richard Baldauf, Cary,NC,Paul Baldauf,Dunmore and Thomas Baldauf,Springbrook

His sister Verna Sojkowsky, Dunmore and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Edward,Joseph, and John(Ozzie) Zilla
