Michelle Maryanne Kausmeyer was born in Scranton on April 6, 1969 to Joseph John Norvilas III and the late Mary Margelis Norvilas.  She was a graduate of North Pocono High School class of 1987.  She also attended Luzerne Community College and Johnson College.  Michelle worked for Specialty Records/Cinram/Technicolor for 24 Years, and most recently for General Dynamics in Archbald until her passing.  She was also an active member of the Polish Club and their Ladies Auxillary.

Michelle was diagnosed with a brain tumor in April and passed away in her sleep on May 11, 2022.  Michelle was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Joseph "Rocky" Kausmeyer, her mother Mary; and her grandparents.  Surviving are her father Joseph Norvilas, Mount Cobb,PA, her brother Joseph Norvilas and wife Dawn, Mount Cobb, her sister Suzanne Crandall and her husband Nick, Oak Ridge, North Carolina; Nephew JC Norvilas, Mount Cobb, Aunt Mariann Norvilas; and several cousins.

Friends and family are invited to a celebration of life for Michelle Tuesday May 17, from 4 to 7 P.M  at the John F. Glinsky Funeral Home, Inc,445 Sanderson St.Throop
