Michael Sofranko,77, of Coatesville, Pa passed into eternal life on Tuesday August 16,2022.  Raised in Throop, Pa, Michael was son of the late Michael and Anna Weiss Sofranko.  He is survived by his wife Barbara Beavers Sofranko; Sons David (Kerri) of Sadsbury Township,PA, Joseph (Justine) of Exton,PA,James (Lindsey) of Exton,PA; four grandchildren; brother Paul (Rosalie) of Santa Rose,CA; sisters: Elaine Cameli of Dunmore,PA and Joan Kucharski(Myron), of Toms River,NJ; many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his eldest son Michael Sofranko.

Mike was a lifelong golfer and most recently a member of Broad Run Golf Course in West Chester,PA.  Mike enjoyed annual summer family vacations to the Outer Banks, deep sea fishing,watching PGA Golf and cheering on the Phillies and Eagles.  In retirement, when he wasn't wintering in Lake Worth ,FL, Mike enjoyed traveling with Barbara.  Mike passed along his love of golf ,fishing, and sports to his sons and took pride in teaching them about the best life had to offer.

Mike was a member of the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church,Coatesville.  Mike's greatest job was being "Papa" to his grandchildren, Lucy, Abigail, Henry and Mikey.
