Marylou Contessa , 83 of Throop passed away peacefully Tuesday May 10 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital.  Marylou was employed at RCA where she was able to retire many years later.  Aside from her family, her dogs were her pride and joy.  In Marylou's spare time , she enjoyed traveling, gardening ,crafting and spending time with loved ones.  Marylou was a devoted Catholic, and loved attending Sunday mass.

She was preceded in death by her parents Norma and Anthony Markowski, former husband Joseph Reha Sr, sisters Theresa Ehrich and Pat Wierzbicki, Daughter Cynthia Reha and  grandson Shawn Novoczynski.

Surviving are her husband Thomas Contessa,  her sister Loretta Jones, Son Joseph Reha Jr and wife Sharon, Granddaughter Chiara Willmot and Husband Jesse and also surviving grandchildren Eddie Novoczynski, Charles Shifler Jr and wife Natalie , Desiree Shifler and many great grandchildren,nices and nephews.
