Mary Jane Moffat Hettman

A lifelong resident of Throop for 100 years passed away Friday January 12, 2024 at home.  Born December 31 to John Moffat and Mary Whitbeck.  Mary is predeceased by her Husband Edward Hettman of 49 years.  Brothers John, James and Sister Elizabeth.

Mary is survived by Daughter Margaret (Peggy) Comstock, Son-in-law David Comstock, Granddaughter Laura Comstock and Husband Ehab Gamal Sakr, Great Granddaughter Ghalia. Mary's pet companions (Dog and Cat) Koby and Mochi. Nieces and Nephews.

Mary was the oldest member of the Throop United Methodist Church.

Private graveside services will be held at St. John's Cemetery, Throop, at a later date.
