Lucille "Lulu" Marushock, 92 of Throop died Friday at Carbondale Nursing Home.  Born December 7, 1930, in Throop, She was the daughter of the late George and Mary Smakula Marushock.  She attended Throop schools and although she had many careers throughout her life she was fortunate to retire from RCA Corp in Dunmore with 26 years of service.  She was also a memeber of St.Cyril and Methodius Church.

Lulu made and maintained many life-long friendships throughout her life. She loved traveling the United States whether it was by plane, bus or car and went on many crises.  Her friends and family knew her as a feisty "Pip".

She is survived by three sisters, Mildred Nagy of Covington Twp., Evelyn Foster of Lake Ariel, Ilona Westington of Jermyn; a sister-in-law Connie Marushock of Throop; as well as many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews and many godchildren. Lulu  was preceded in death by her brothers, George Marushock, and John Marushock; nephews Edward Marushock and Brian Westington and a great niece  .Alexandra Westington .

Relatives and friends are invited  to her viewing on Tuesday May 16 from 4 to 7 P.M. at the John F. Glinsky Funeral Home,Inc. 445 Sanderson St. Throop

Funeral Services with Divine Liturgy will be held at 10 A.M. at St.Cyrils and Methodius Church, Olyphant. All those attending services please go directly to church.

In lieu of  flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Lulu's name to St. Joseph's Center , Scranton.
