Lois Ann (Bowden) Wall, 63, of Throop, passed away unexpectedly on May 4, 2026. She was born October 17, 1962, in Scranton, daughter of the late James and Lois Bowden.
Lois was a loving wife, mother, Nana , sister, aunt, and friend whose life was centered around caring for others. She devoted many years to raising her children as a stay-at-home mother and later worked as a caregiver in a nursing home, where her compassion and nurturing spirit touched many lives. Most recently, she treasured caring for her grandchildren and cherished the time she spent with them.
Lois was deeply devoted to her husband, Jack, and remained faithfully by his side throughout his illnesses until his passing in 2021. The loss of her husband deeply affected her, and those who knew Lois understood how greatly she missed him. Her family finds comfort in knowing they are reunited once again.
Known for her caring heart and warm presence, Lois brought comfort and joy to those around her, always making others feel welcomed and loved. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, listening to music, attending picnics and gatherings, and simply being surrounded by the people who meant the most to her.
She was preceded in death by her husband John"Jack" Wall and her nephews, Christopher Graff and Brian Baigis.
Surviving are her daughters, Michele Lesnefsky (Christopher), Kimberly Lynady (Nick), and son John Wall Jr; grandchildren, Abigail and Andrew Lesnefsky, Isabella and Bradley Lynady and Lucas Godfrey; sisters Nancy Lenko, Susan Baigis, and MaryLou DeAngelis; brother James Bowden; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may attend a Celebration of Life on Sunday May 17, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM concluding with a prayer service at the John F. Glinsky Funeral Home, Inc., 445 Sanderson St. Throop,PA 18512
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Throop Methodist Church or Griffin Pond Animal Shelter.
Lois will be forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
