Lester (Les) Chapman Jr, 70 of Throop, died Thursday March 9 at Geisinger CMC Hospital.  Born in Dunmore, he was the son of the late Lester and Dorothy Grimm Chapman.  He attended Dunmore High School.  For most of his life , he worked in the service industry.

He is survived by his loving family, son Chris Chapman, Daughter Tracy Bradshaw and husband Rob, former spouse Sue Chapman, and his sister Gail Snyder.  He is also survived by his grandchildren, Colin and Ella Chapman, and Tyler and Ashlyn Bradshaw.  He was preceded in death by his siblings Bobby, Donnie, Kenny, Rich, Jimmy and June.  His grandchildren were the joy of his life.  He especially enjoyed their sporting events and activities  He also loved music, the New York Yankees, and he was known for his one-liners that made everyone laugh.  He enjoyed spending time at his daughter's restaurant, Otown Bar and Grill where the staff became his family and the guests became his friends,
