Kimberly Nakonechni, 52, of Longmont Colarado; formerly from Blakely, passed away peacefully on Sunday March 3 at Advent Hospital in Littleton, Colorado after a brief illness.  Kimberly is the daughter of Mary Kay (Motisko) Nakonechni and the late Stanley Nakonechni Jr.  Kimberly attended Valley View High School and Pittsburgh Culinary School.  She was employed at Braun Comunications in Aurora, Colarado where she resided with her former husband, Paul Loss.

Kimberly loved nature, hiking, cooking, and gardening, but especially loved her dog King.  She was a free spirit and possessed a charismatic personality which led her to attain many lifelong friends.  She was full of life and made everyone she met feel special.  Fun loving, great sense of humor, a heart of gold and a beautiful smile is how she will be remembered.

Kimberly is survived by her mother, Mary Nakonechni; brothers, Nathaniel and Ian; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  Viewing will be held on Tuesday April 2 from 9 to 10 A.M. at St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 N.Church St.,Carbondale, with a mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 A.M. Interment will be at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill
