Joseph P. Polcha Sr. was called to heaven August 10,2023.  He was a lifelong resident of Scranton, Pa. Loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and uncle.  He lived with his son in New Jersey for a time and his daughter in South Carolina until his passing.  Retired pipe fittre/meter shop technician  from Pennsylvania Gas and water co.  He was preceded in death by his wife Mary of 56 years. Surviving him are his son Joseph Jr, Daughter Susan Phelps, his grandchildren Christopher, Jessica and James, nieces and nephews.
