Bo was privately a very altruistic person and his family and many others whenever he encountered someone in need. His generosity extended well beyond those he was close to, as he regularly supported many worthy causes of his choice throughout the country.
Bo had no children of his own, but he took nearly every opportunity to treat his nieces, nephews, and their children as his own, in fact, he may have considered it even better since he didn't have to take them home when he was done spoiling them. Bo's many activities in life included fishing, boating, his cottage at the lake, visiting casinos and many of the local bars and restaurants. Bo enjoyed golfing at one time but retired his clubs when he realized he could pay the green fees and just walk the course to pick mushrooms in the out of bounds woods. No one knew he was out for the day if they might find big bags of fresh picked mushrooms on their porch. He enjoyed his life and lived a good full life enriching everyone he interacted with. Bo was a joker who shared his infectious sense of humor with everyone he encountered.
