Jose' Benji Rodriguez Colon 52 years old, went to be with the Lord his Savior on October 26, 2025.

Born on December 31, 1972 to Catalino Rodriguez and Edelmira Colon in Bronx NY, he was raised between NY and Puerto Rico.

He was a loving husband of 32 years to Awilda Rodriguez and caring father to Jailyn, Christian, and Jordan Rodriguez.

Survivors are his wife and children and his beloved pet Milo. His brothers Mike, Junior, Dennis, Ivan, Noel; his sisters Ivi, Mency, Angie, Millie and Carmen as well as many nieces and nephews among other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers; Nelson and Harold, 2 nephews; John Andujar and Ruben Rodriguez and family pet,Oreo.

Benji, as he was best known, loved God, music, comedy, sports, boxing and his family.  He was favorite uncle to many, and loved by everyone because of his positive and caring nature.  He had a a great and crazy, sense of humor.(If you knew him, you know.) He was the life of every family gathering, but most of all he was known for his growing love for god, and eagerness to that with his family being first before he shared with others.

He recently reactivated his church membership at Scranton Revival Baptist Church, where he planned to be active and a better equipped member in his walk with Jesus Christ, but God called him home.

He was described by many as genuine, caring and a great human being.

Missed and loved by many.

A viewing will be held  for family and friends on Sunday November 2, 2025 from 2 PM to 4 PM at the John F. Glinsky Funeral Home, Inc. 445 Sanderson St. Throop,PA.

Interment will be held Monday November 3, 2025 at Cathedral Cemetery at 11:00 A.M.
