In Loving Memory of John "Stu" Sanderson Beloved Husband, Father, Son, Brother and Friend

John "Stu" Sanderson of Blakely, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully Sunday July 6, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.  He was a devoted husband to his wife Catherine for nearly 40 wonderful years, and a a proud and loving father to Matthew Sanderson and Carlie Sanderson.  His deep compassion, quiet strength, and gentle nature were gifts to everyone who knew him.

John dedicated over four decades to his craft as an audio technician, lovingly known as "the Sound Guy." His passion for music and unwavering commitment to making it sound its very best touched countless lives-his work was more than a career, it was an art.

Beyond the soundboard, John found serenity in fishing and joy in long days at the beach with his spouse.  He was also a lifelong, devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers-Sundays were sacred days in the Sanderson household, filled with cheers, friendly rivalries and John's boundless team spirit. These moments, simple and rich with love, were his favorite kind.

John is lovingly remembered by his mother, Rose Sanderson; his brother Jim Sanderson and sister Mary Ruda; his niece Elizabeth Ruda and nephew Patrick Ruda his sister and brother-in-law Frank and Trudy Lykowski and many more family and friends whose lives were made brighter by his presence.

He was preceded in death by his father Peter Sanderson.

His legacy is one of devotion, kindness, and heartfelt connection-a man who listened deeply, laughed fully, and loved immensely.

"If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you..."

John, your song goes on in every memory, every echo, every wave.  You will be dearly missed and always cherished.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday July 16, 2025 from 5pm to 7pm at the John F. Glinsky Funeral Home, Inc. 445 Sanderson St. Throop, PA.
