Joan A. Stecco, 90, formerly of Olyphant, passed away at Allied Skilled Nursing on Wednesday June 10, 2026. She was the wife of Edward Stecco who passed away on August 30, 2020. They were married for 57 years.
Born in Peckville, to the late Joseph and Helen Beckage, she was a graduate of Olyphant High School. She retired from Lockheed Martin after working there for rover 40 years. She was a member of SS.Cyril and Methodius Church, Olyphant.
She is survived by her son David and wife Karen Stecco, Nanticoke; grandsons, David (Alyssa), Media and Evan (Andrea), Arlington, VA; and great-granddaughter Sloane; sisters Marie Butler and Karen Carrera; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister Elaine Gruzesky and an infant brother, Joseph Beckage.
Joan was a wonderful cook and shared talents with family and friends. In her later years, she enjoyed spending time with her family, talking on the phone with her sisters and taking trips to the casino.
Joan's family would like to thank the staff at Allied Residence and Skilled Nursing Meade Street, Wilkes-Barre for their kind and compassionate care.

Divine Liturgy will be celebrated by Father Nestor Iwasiw on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 10:00 am at SS.Cyril & Methodius Church, 135 N. River St. Olyphant, PA 18447. Interment will follow at St.Catherine's Mausoleum, Moscow, PA.
Calling hours will be from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the John F. Glinsky Funerl Home, Inc., 445 Sanderson St. Throop,PA
