Obituary

Jeanette "Jean" Gloria Goransson Baldassano Fitzgerald, was born in Brooklyn New York, spent time in Spain,Montana,California,Nebraska and

Pennsylvania.

On February 4,2022 Jeantte, recently of Nescopeck,Pa passed away in Scranton,Pa at the age of 80.

Her Parents Erik Gosta Goransson and Gloria H.Knudsen and her Brother Erik Roger (Ricky) Goransson all proceded her in death.

Jeanette leaves behind three children Janis Bowers , Simi Valley,CA, Jodi Panczak of Lakewood ,Colorado and Rob Baldassano,Dickson City,PA

6 grandchildren and 3 soon to be 4 great grandchiodren, as well as many extended family

She has led a full life and always took what steps she could to leave others with memories of her presence.

Jeanette Earned multiple college degrees ranging from multiple associate degrees to a Masters of Economics, as well as a Bachelors Degree

in nursing as an RN.

Jeanette spent many years as a nurse, taking care of a regional hospital in Northern California and the local clinics with the country attached to

a hospital .Prior to working as a nurse she spent several years as a safety specialist for a Gold Mine in Northern California. She was also a site manager for a security company. She was a private pilot, taking part in the CAP program in several locations throughout the years.

She was a member of the"99's" club, which was a club of women pilots. Jeanette loved to tell stories of her youth and would remind us of all the things she did as a younger person. She had an infectious laugh. She loved the outdoors,hunting,skiing,swimming,boating and camping. She traveled and camped across the United States and Europe, to explore and experience all the wonder of the world. She often spoke of the pleasrue

of sitting by the side of a river, and listening to nature. While in Spain she took part in the running of the bulls.

Jeanette had been called "a Bad Ass Woman" because of all the things she accomplished in life.

Her passing will be deeply felt by all of us that remain. Including family,friends and all who encountered hew throughout her life.
