Frank J. Churmblo, 78, of Throop, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025 at his home after a lengthy illness.  His loving wife of 51 years is Roberta (Hargreaves) Churmblo.

Frank was born in Scranton on November 23, 1946 and was the son of the Late James and Ann Churmblo.  He was a graduate of Johnson School as well as a Veteran of the United States Air Force.  Frank was employed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Public Welfare, where he ascended to the rank of Executive Officer prior to retirement.

Frank was well-known for his mild manner and humor.  He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and spending as much time in Disney as his wife would allow.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Also surviving are sisters, Patricia McCauley and husband Michael, Scranton; sister Sandra Hobbs and husband George; Aunt Joan Cizik and husband Rod, Scranton as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother James Churmblo Jr.

Viewing for family and friends will be Friday March 14th from 5p.m.to 7p.m.at the John F. Glinsky Funeral Home, Inc., 445 Sanderson St. Throop, while funeral services will be held on Saturday March 15th at Blessed Sacrament Parish at St. Anthony's Church, at 215 Rebecca St. Throop, PA at 9:30 a.m.
