Elwood T. Rodney,88 of Throop passed away August 18,2022 at Geisinger Community Medical Center after a brief illness. Elwood is survived by his beloved wife Margaret (Peggy) Mott Rodney.  They celebrated their 60th Anniversary on July 7, 2022.  Born in Throop son of the Late Edward and Alice Buddle Rodney, he was a graduate of Throop High School, served in the United States Army and retired from Thompson Electronics.

Elwood enjoyed traveling with his wife Peggy, daily walks around the streets of Throop and was an avid Penn State fan, holding season tickets for many years.

He is survived by cousins, nieces and nephews. including Sandy Dellia and Husband Bill, caregivers, and heir sons whom Elwood adored Carmen and Jon Dellia.  Brother-in-Law Gerald Mott and wife Nancy.
