Eleanor Uhranowsky, widow of Joseph Uhranowsky passed away peacefully July 2, 2024 at the age of 94.  She was the daughter of Anna and Peter Pieshefski and attended Throop High School.

Eleanor married Joe in1956 moving briefly to New Jersey, then settling in Throop to raised her family and most recently lived in Olyphant.

Eleanor worked in Pawnee Pants until her retirement.  She lived a simple and fulfilling life.  Eleanor was compassionate and always willing to help others.  Surviving are her children John, Sharon, and Joseph, along with 7 grandchildren and 2 great grand children.

Funeral services will be held Monday July 8 at St.Cyril and Methodius Cemetery in Peckville at 11 a.m.  All those attending services please go directly to the cemetery chapel.

Memorial contributions can be made to St.Jude's Children's Hospital.
