Obituary

Edward Naylor, 84, passed away peacefully at Geisinger C.M.C.on April2.  He was predeceased by his wife Dolores and parents John and Anna Naylor.

Ed was raised in Falls, and upon completing high school, he served four years in the United States Navy, where he was involved in the Cuban Missile Crisis.  His professional career included positions in Casket Shells, Inc. for 15 years, Strick Trailers for 8 years, and Long Life Springs for 10 years, culminating in his role as foreman at Keystone Sanitary Landfill.

Upon retiring to Lake Spangenberg, he applied his skills to carpentry, construction, landscaping, and mechanical repairs.  Ed had a barn with tools that could fabricate other tools, illustrating his ability to create and repair items.  He took pleasure in jigsaw puzzles and fishing with his stepson, Joe.  In later years, he engaged in activities such as dancing, cooking, and exercising at the YMCA. Ed especially valued the time spent with his special friend and companion, Barbara Ide.

We extend our gratitude to Monte Motisko for managing multiple late-night hospital visits with Ed, as well as overseeing the house, checking the mail and helping with various tasks after Ed's passing.  Ed greatly valued Monte's presence both as a nephew and a close friend.

Surviving are his daughter Judith, granddaughter Victoria, stepchildren MaryAnn and Joseph Ambrogi (wife Johanna), and nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores, brother Johnny, sister Barbara Naylor, and stepchildren Marina Appleton and Adam Ambrogi, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., April 14th inside the chapel at Saint Mary's Cemetery, Scott Township.

Donations may be made to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, 967 Griffin Pond Road, Clarks Summit, PA 18411
