Edward Lutchko,Jr, at the age of 93, passed way peacefully on July 4, 2022 at his home in Chula Vista, California, surrounded by his wife and his longtime caregivers. Edward was known to his family as "Uncle Ed".  He was born in Throop,PA on May 17, 1929.  He is survived by the love of his life his wife Bernice of 63 years.

Ed was a navy hero who served 20 years in the naval service and was part of the second generation of the Blue Angels.  He was part of the Sea Search and Rescue team helping save lives of others and was truly inspirational.

Ed is described as kind,compassionate,caring, and with a great sense of humor.  He married his wife Bernice in 1959 in Old Forge.PA. Soon after moving to start their lives in Florida to then retire in California where they have been residing since 1963.
