Donald Cure, 89, of Cortez Co, formerly of Heart Lake Corners, passed away July 21, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.  He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years JoAnn (Sereditch) Cure of Cortez Co., his son Danny Cure and wife Karin of KIngsley, Pa, his granddaughter Katherine Cure of Dunmore, PA many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is predeceased by his Father Otto and Mother Vera (Moon) Cure, Sister Lois (Cure) Keen and husband George Keen, Brothers Jack and Ralph Cure, Daughter Lenita Cure.

He was an avid hunter and lover of outdoors.  He harvested many animals including a record book, Boone and Crocket, Bighorn sheep in 1994.

Don was in the United States Air Force, he served as an MP stationed in England and loved his country.
