Diane M.Grande of Scranton, formerly of Throop,passed away April 10,2022 at the age of 70.  She was preceded by her parents, Dominick M. and Alda M. Grande.  Diane graduated from Cathedral High School in 1969. Diane went on to study Philosophy at West Chester University and later graduated from the University of Scranton with a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy.  Diane also attended Marywood University for the study of Interior Design and went on to study Politicial Philosophy at Villanova Graduate Arts and Sciences in 1991.

During her lifetime , Diane was a former owner at Diane's Furniture Shoppe, Investigative Reporter at Metro News, and a morning personality, "Erica Allen", AT Cool 94.3 Fm & 93.7 Radio prior to her disability. Diane's hobbies included reading books and discussing politics and psychology.

Diane is survived by her sister, Annette Maslar,  her brother-in-law, William Maslar, her niece and Godchild, Anna Maslar, and cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.

Calling hours and a celebration of her life will be held Thursday April 21 from 9 to 10 A.M. at the John F.Glinsky Funeral Home,Inc 445 Sanderson St

Throop. Interment will follow at St, John's Cemetery,Throop.
