Christina "Nana" Runco, 84, of Throop, Pa, peacefully passed away on June 26, 2025, after a courageous battle with illness.  Born on August 28, 1940, in Saltcoats, Scotland, Christina was a beacon of love, kindness, compassion and generosity to all who knew her.

"Nana" as she was affectionately called dedicated her life wholeheartedly to her family.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Gino Runco. Her memory lives on through her devoted children: Sons Carmen Runco (Tammy), Anthony Gene Runco (Patricia): daughters, Maryann Runco, Christina Biancarelli (Bruce); grandchildren Tommy Lukasewicz, Jenna Mancuso and Bobby Intoccia, Gino Runco, Tony Runco, Patrick Runco, Dominic Runco, Mario Runco, Nino Biancarelli, Angelo Biancarelli, Gina Biancarelli; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a service on Thursday July 3 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel at Cathedral Cemetery.
