Bernard Edward Gervasi

Bernard Edward Gervasi, formerly of Throop, passed away on September 15, 2026, at the Gino J. Merli Veterans’ Center, Scranton, 

Born to the late Angelo and Johanna Muro Gervasi, Bernie lived a life marked by devotion to family and service to his country. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Bernie honorably served his country during the Vietnam War. His service and sacrifice will always be remembered with gratitude and respect. 

He was preceded in death by his sister Concetta Riley.

He is survived by his brother, Joseph Gervasi of Ormond Beach, Florida, as well as his loving nieces and nephews. Bernard will be remembered with love by his family and with honor for the service he gave to our nation. May his memory live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Services will be held 11 A.M.on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at St. Mary's Chapel,Throop, He will be buried along side his parents.

Rest in peace, Bernie, Your duty is complete, your service honored, and your memory will never be forgotten.
