Andrew J. Rabel passed away on March 28, 2026, surrounded by his family.  He was the son of Andrew "Drache" Rabel and Margaret "Peggy" Pollock Rabel.  He was truly blessed in his life with a wonderful, caring, loving wife, Susan Kranick Rabel.  She made his life happy and complete.  He was blessed with three of the most wonderful gifts a man can ever hope to have in his children: Margaret, Jeanne and Andrew.  These are the people he was so proud of and the mature adults they became.  They make the world a better place by being in it, for all people without judgment.

He was especially proud of how they took care of their mother during her illnesses.  He was always thankful for his loving sisters, the late Theresa Youshock and the late Dolores Zagursky.  They were his inspiration, and he wished he had made known what they meant to him more than he did.  They were always there for him.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews.  To his in-laws, he expresses heartfelt thanks for being with his family when they were needed most.  He also could never forget his dogs, Jacki and Pippin.

He was a graduate of Mid-Valley HIgh School and Marywood College.

The only things he hopes to be remembered for are the time he gave to his family and that it helped in their lives.

Private services will be held, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
